"A Day In California" is a time-lapsed video consisting of over 10,000 photos! Ryan Killackey, a Southern California native, spent a year and a half to make this gorgeous tribute of the Golden State!

In an interview it was revealed that "the video is more than just an ode to California -- it's also a love letter to his wife."

Ryan adores and loves his wife, he loves California, and enjoys photography, so a project like this, came naturally!

Having grown up in Covina, California, he visited many of the places in the video as a child, like the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, Sturtevant Falls, and Mormon Rock. His wife, Sherri, who grew up two cities over, in La Puente, California, didn't travel as much.

He decided to take his wife traveling around southern California and captured it on film!

When it comes to California, Ryan has this to say:

"I think it is easy to focus on the politics of California, and the traffic, and the taxes. It's so easy to forget just how beautiful this state is. God has created something extraordinary, and I really think people should get out and enjoy what California has to offer. There's simply nothing like it."
